01About us
PC Web Agency is a software engineering firm founded in 2006 in Lamezia Terme, Italy. It designs and develops complex information systems and custom software, and provides IT consulting and web services to companies, public bodies, public administrations and professionals in Italy and abroad.
Over twenty years the firm has followed the evolution of the industry, from the first business applications installed on company premises to today's cloud platforms, combining a solid engineering approach with first-hand knowledge of how businesses actually operate. A path built on continuous learning and daily work with organisations of every size and sector.
The work focuses on the design and development of complex information systems and custom software: warehouse management, ERP and CRM systems, CMSs, cloud e-invoicing platforms accredited with the Italian e-invoicing system (SdI), B2B and B2C portals, web platforms and mobile and desktop applications. Hundreds of custom-built applications, many of them in use for years and grown together with the companies that rely on them.
Particular attention goes to system architecture and interoperability: development and integration of REST APIs and web services, data synchronisation between business software, e-commerce, marketplaces and third-party services, and automation of document flows and business processes. Solutions are designed to be scalable, secure and able to evolve with the client's needs. Technically, development is mainly based on PHP and Laravel, together with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 for web interfaces, MySQL for data management, and Python.
Every project starts with an in-depth analysis of the client's processes: before writing code we study workflows, pain points and goals, to build tools that genuinely simplify everyday work. Development is followed through every phase, from design to go-live, through to support and evolution of the solutions over time.
Alongside development, the firm provides consulting on the IT infrastructure of companies and public administrations (servers, client workstations, networks, cybersecurity, redundant backup and data mirroring) and supports Italian public bodies in their ICT projects, from technical support to the project manager through to acceptance testing.
Technical expertise comes with the responsibility of the engineering profession: rigorous design, attention to security and data protection, regulatory compliance, and a client relationship based on transparency and continuity.

The firm is led by Carmine Palermo, a computer engineer (Italian MSc LM-32) registered with the Italian Order of Engineers, who coordinates projects and takes on professional assignments in information engineering.

Over the years the firm has built a stable network of professionals it works with on an ongoing basis, so it can take on projects that require different skills while keeping a single technical and organisational point of reference.
For networks the firm works with external system engineers with many years of experience in designing, installing and managing business networks: active equipment, firewalls and perimeter security, fibre connectivity, FWA and point-to-point wireless links, for single sites and organisations spread across several locations.
On web projects the firm works with external front-end and back-end developers with many years of experience in WordPress, PrestaShop and Laravel, building institutional websites, web portals and B2B/B2C e-commerce platforms with careful attention to design, performance and integration with business software and ERP systems.
For design the firm works with external professionals, experts in digital and print communication, who take care of visual identity and logos, corporate identity, web and social media content, brochures, catalogues and promotional material.

Project coordination remains with the firm, which handles the technical approach, planning and quality control. The client has a single point of contact and a project followed consistently through every phase.
